What you're joining
One system for the whole job of keeping animals.
Care runs on data, and most of it never gets written down. Feeding logs end up on index cards, weights in a spreadsheet, temperatures in your head. HabitatOS puts the whole record in one place, so the history is there when you need to make a decision from it.
- Manage
- Feedings, sheds, weights, medications, and reminders in one timeline for each animal. Your collection stays organized as it grows, online or off.
- Monitor
- Live temperature and humidity plotted against each enclosure's target bands, with alerts when conditions leave range.
- Thrive
- Appetite shifts, weight curves, and environmental history, so you catch the quiet drift while it's still easy to fix.
Who it's for
Keepers at any scale. A single ball python in a bioactive enclosure, a rack room of breeding pairs, or a collection that outgrew its spreadsheet a while ago. The record structure is the same either way, and it works offline, because the reptile room is often the corner of the house with the worst signal.
When an animal moves on, its history goes with it. The passport carries feedings, sheds, weights, and health notes through to the next keeper, so nobody starts from zero and nothing important is left behind in a text thread. That matters most for the things you only notice in hindsight — a feeding response that changed three months before anyone thought to write it down.
How the waitlist works
Joining takes an email address and nothing else. We use double opt-in, so you'll get one confirmation message to click, and then one more email when your invite opens. No newsletter, no drip sequence, and no sharing your address with anyone else — the Privacy Policy sets out exactly what we do with it.
HabitatOS is built by keepers, works offline, and commits 10% of proceeds to rescues and exotic vets. If you want to read the fine print before you sign up, the policy library is public.
